This was the whole overall of this season. In a way season, one focused on how to get Bhumi close to Nayak. And the second season continues that. She needs to pass the intel. And get Nayak caught. And end his empire for good.
This NetFlix web series begins well. The main character Bhumi is asked to continue her role. As a sex worker to entrap Nayak. But looks like deep down she enjoys it. Her new awakened sexuality gives her a thrill. When some people notice. And approach her. And bhumi even manages to change the mind of the guy who has this rule not to pay for sex- who ended up paying for her.
She has become the thing all men will go crazy for. Why does her husband call her a man? This is beyond our understanding. Which by the way is explored in the series as well.
Too much women’s sexuality
The web series had a strong start. But after, completing around 3-4 episodes. it fizzles out. The show loses its cool, and they focused TOO MUCH on women’s sexuality to the point it became annoying.
There’s a scene where the main character Bhumi and Nayak get intimate in a moving ambulance which was totally unnecessary. Another grave mistake was not trying to fill the void left by Sasya. And He was quite a character in season one of this series. And would often bring the much-needed excitement. They should have found some character to fill his gap.
Maybe a new right-hand man for Nayak would have done the job. But all of this can be forgiven. As it catches on towards the end of the NetFlix web series.
So, how does Bhumi handles the dilemma of doing the JOB for the DEPARTMENT? Or staying loyal to her newfound LOVE is showcased in a subtle way to conclude season 2. SHE didn’t live up to our expectations.
